Skydiving into 90: Margaret’s Resident Spotlight

At Buena Vida Estates, we pledge to provide our residents with a resort-style retirement lifestyle and access to a full continuum of care that only a true not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) can provide. At the same time, we also aim to create an active and vibrant lifestyle that treats you as a valued individual and fosters a sense of community.

So when our resident Margaret wanted to go Skydiving for her 90th birthday, we knew it would be an event to remember.

On April 3rd, “Team Margaret” loaded up and headed out to Skydive Space Center. Not only was Margaret about to skydive, but a group of her friends from Buena Vida were going to cheer her on.

To celebrate her 90th, Margaret and her granddaughter got ready to check skydiving off their bucket list!

Starting at 18,000 feet above Space Center, they jumped out with their instructors, falling a thousand feet every five seconds – so fast it feels like you’re floating. They got to experience an incredible view of the entire Space Coast – getting to see the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian River, and the Kennedy Space Center.

Margaret and her granddaughter were all smiles once back on the ground!

Happy Birthday again, Margaret! We couldn’t be more proud of you and Buena Vida Estates is so happy to have you call this home!
